This is a stunning rare sample booklet of Czech glass seed beads. From the Jablonex company in Jablonec nad Nisou, Czechoslovakia, around the 1950's. This booklet demonstrates every color and size of bugle, 2 cut and  3 cut seed beads available. With four pages of beads showing sizes from 16/0 to 7/0 in seed and 2.5mm to 8mm in bugle beads.
This shows some extremely rare glass colors and finishes rarely seen today. Some examples include Gunmetal Sphinx, Gold iris, steel, tinted crystal iridescent and many more besides. The bead cards are almost intact with just 3 lines missing from all of the cards.
The front of the booklet shows a wonderful 1950's image with examples of intricate beadwork. The back shows all the names of the hanks available by size. Wonderful exotic names such as Pari, Misri, Klapat, Nepar, India, Canada and Otoman.
The inside back pages have "special hints for ordering bugle beads and two-cut and three-cut beads". This describes the shapes of the beads, the sizes available, the approximate quantities in a hank and the weight.
For a used sample booklet, this is in good condition and a museum piece or collectable.
The booklet measures 10.25 inches by 6 inches when closed.
